Get ready to revisit the Unova region, Trainers! Die highly anticipated Black Bolt and White Flare sets have been officially revealed for the English Pokémon Trading Card Game! Prepare for a surge of new Karten and exciting Produkte hitting shelves between July 18th and August 22nd, 2025.

In a groundbreaking move for the English TCG, these sets will be released in a "split" format, mirroring the approach often seen in Japan. This means two distinct, yet interconnected sets will launch simultaneously, offering a diverse array of Karten to collect and play. This innovative approach was initially hinted at back in January, based on early product listings for dual Booster Bundles. Notably, this also marks the first time that Japanese and English sets will share the exact same names.

Each Black Bolt and White Flare Set will boast an impressive lineup, including:

• Over 170 Karten to collect.
• More than 65 stunning "illustration rare" cards, showcasing unique artwork.
• Over 5 highly sought-after "special illustration rare" cards.
• Six powerful Pokémon ex (featuring Zekrom ex and Meloetta ex in Black Bolt, and Reshiram ex and Keldeo ex in White Flare).
• Eight Ultra Rare Pokémon and Supporter cards.
• A guaranteed illustration rare or special illustration rare card for every Pokémon originally discovered in the Unova region.
• A special illustration rare Supporter card to enhance your deck.
• Three distinct parallel foil treatments, with two featuring eye-catching rainbow Poké Ball or Master Ball patterns that shimmer across the card's surface.
• Die introduction of new "Black White rare" cards, distinguished by their striking monochromatic illustrations.
